THEY HAD lots to celebrate at Holy Cross primary academy at the end of term. Not only did they obtain great SATS results that saw them placed in the top ten schools in Essex but they also had a wonderful evening of Christmas celebration.

Songs by students, staff and parents were sung. There was a bazaar in the hall and a great feeling of bonhomie and cheer.

It alway seems fitting at Holy Cross, that pride of place in the school yard, during Christmas celebrations is a manger and three wise men. The central message is central.

Chair of Harlow Council, cllr Ian Beckett was present as well as Labour candidate, Suzy Stride.

Christmas celebrations will continue with midnight mass on Christmas Eve.
