AccuroACCURO (Care Services) has received £600 from Harlow Running Club having been chosen as the club’s charity of the year.

The money, which was raised at the annual Harlow 10 race, was presented to Accuro’s Shared Care co-ordinator Michelle Jephcott.

Michelle said: “During the year the club has not only provided us with this financial donation but assisted greatly with a fun run we held in the summer, as well as providing us with the opportunity to raise awareness of our work and services.

“We would also like to express our thanks to the club Committee and members for voting for Accuro to benefit from being one of their nominated charities for 2015.

“Every donation makes a huge difference to the services we can provide to children, young people and adults with a disability, and their families, in the Harlow area in these very difficult times.”

Accuro is a local charity that has been providing services for children and adults with a disability, and their families, in Harlow since 1984 and which is now actively seeking to strengthen its links with the local community.

Accuro welcomes interest from any club, organisation, business or individuals who would like to support the valuable work the charity undertakes.

Accuro is particularly keen to develop additional community partnerships that would be of mutual benefit.
