HARLOW MP Robert Halfon has welcomed the recommendations of a report looking into the expansion of London’s airports.

Responding to the Davies Commission the Harlow MP said:

“I’m glad that the recommendation does not call for a second runway at Stansted, but instead supports strengthening the existing capacity of the airport.

“I also welcome the recognition of investment by the Manchester Airports Group. With over 17 million people using Stansted every year, strengthening the existing capacity at Stansted is vital to ensure a better service for everyone.”
