THE finalists for the British Parking Awards have been announced and the North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP) has been shortlisted for the Team of the Year category.
Having previously won the Parking Partnership award at the 2012 British Parking Awards, NEPP is keen to show the judges another successful area of its organisation.
In its entry, the NEPP has included examples of its commitment to positive change, team building and staff development through focus groups, internal communications and professional development opportunities. Also submitted were examples of customer compliments and testimonials, media coverage and its use of social media to educate and engage with local motorists.
Councillor Mitchell, Chairman of the North Essex Parking Partnership said “I’m delighted that the NEPP has been shortlisted as Team of the Year in these prestigious national awards. NEPP’s staff work incredibly hard as a team to deliver the Partnership’s aims to provide excellent parking; sensitive, practical enforcement and customer services across North Essex. It’s very encouraging to see their hard work has been acknowledged through these awards”.
The British Parking Awards is in its 14th year and is an independent national competition which recognises excellence and achievement in parking management, design and innovation.
These national awards are open to parking teams from both the public and private sector and recognise the work of both on and off-street parking operations, as well as back office/support services.
The British Parking Awards winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday 4 March at Lancaster Hotel, London.
