TO celebrate Easter, The Harvey Centre will be putting on a host of free activities for customers to enjoy on Saturday 26 March including an exotic petting zoo, chocolate craft workshop and face painters, plus giveaways and competitions for shoppers to enter. All activities on the day will be free to the public.

Paradise Wildlife Park will be bringing a petting zoo to the centre for customers to enjoy between 11am – 4pm. This petting zoo will include reptiles, ducklings, rabbits, an owl and more, and will be located on the ground floor mall. This is a great chance for customers to get up close to these exotic creatures and learn a lot more about them. There will also be a Paradise Wildlife Park stand in the centre with free comics for customers to take away.

Furthermore the public can enter a competition to win tickets to Paradise Wildlife Park on social media. Shoppers need to keep an eye out on Facebook for an Easter related post they can comment on. The most humorous or entertaining caption will then be in the run-in to win. The most creative post will win a family ticket to the park and two runners up will receive two free child tickets. The competition closes at midday on Good Friday.

In addition children can attend a free craft workshop in the centre between 11am – 4pm on Saturday 26 March where they can get creative and decorate chocolate bunny rabbits. Plus face-painters will be on hand to turn children into their favourite Easter character.

The centre will also be running a fun Easter competition for all customers to enter. All they have to do is take a picture of themselves at the event, which they then post to Twitter with the hashtag #HarvAHappyEaster. If they show the picture and tweet to a staff member at the Kid’s Club stand they will receive a crème egg to take away and enjoy.

Finally the Easter bunny will be making an appearance at the centre to add some further magic to the Easter period.

Paradise Wildlife Park is an incredible zoo and we are very excited that they are bringing some of their most popular animals to the centre for our event. This will be a very fun and educational Easter extravaganza that I’m sure our customers will love.”

All families who take part in the activities will be able to sign up to The Harvey Centre Kid’s Club – where they’ll get a free welcome goody bag, plus access to exclusive offers and news.
