THE Harvey Centre sponsored a race at the sell-out Langley Colts Youth Football Club’s Race Night held on Saturday 23rd April.

240 were in attendance at Cannons Brook Golf Club to watch the event which consisted of 12 races all supported by local businesses within the area to help encourage donations to the football club.

Funds raised from the night are being invested back into the club in order to help pay for their Presentation Night in July, as well as purchasing new equipment needed for next season.

Langley Colts Youth Football Club is the only football association in Harlow which is exclusively run by volunteers.

Members of the club are of all ages and abilities, ensuring a family friendly football environment. Due to the club being solely run by volunteers the Race Night was a significant event for the club.

Scott Parker, the Under 9s Mustangs Coach at Langley Colts Youth Football Club said: “The club is extremely grateful for the support we have received from The Harvey Centre.

“We have been genuinely overwhelmed by support from the local community.”

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre said: “We are delighted to have been able to support Langley Colts Youth FC and I wish them the best of luck in their upcoming matches.”
