THE children at Kiddi Caru’s Harlow day nursery have been channeling their inner scientists, by making water walk!

Helped by the nursery’s staff the children lined up a number of empty cups and filled them with water, adding food colouring to every other cup. They then linked the cups using tissue paper, and watched in amazement as the water gradually ‘walked’ from one cup to another and the colours mixed together.

Vania Farinha, Nursery Manager, said: “The children are very interested in science at the moment so this was the perfect activity for them. As well as watching the water travel from one cup to another they were able to guess how the colours would change when they mixed together. I think we may have a few budding scientists here!”
