RAZED Roof’s inclusive production of ‘Brave New Food’ is coming to the Harlow Playhouse on the 12th May.
The script has been written by established playwright Judith Johnson specifically for Razed Roof.
In a world where food is processed and fatty, the Queen cannot understand why her husband, the King, has died so young.
This fun production challenges the bullies, cheers Hawthorn our hero, and encourages us to think about the food we eat.
There will be two performances – matinee at 2pm and the evening show will be 7:30pm.
The show lasts just over an hour.
Razed Roof is an inclusive performing arts group for people with, and without, learning difficulties and disabilities.
They are based at Harlow Playhouse where an inclusive company of up to forty participants work together for over six hours every Thursday with the support of an experienced team of staff.
There has been positive feedback from the audiences at the production so far.
One reviewer praised the comedy of the play, saying: “Brilliant & entertaining. Very funny. I cried with laughter.”
Another said: “Fantastic to see a true example of an inclusive company, where everyone’s part is integral to the overall production and high expectations of all are set and exceeded.”
