The venue is the newly refurbished bandstand in the Town Park and this year the event has been expanded to become an inclusive youth festival, with various other youth organisations from the town being invited to participate.

Funding for the event has largely been supplied via the Jack Petchey Foundation, courtesy of The Crystal Award received by Rock School last summer.

The day kicks off at noon with music from the various Rock School bands, while either side of that and throughout the day several Rock School alumni making a return to show where their musical journey has taken them.

There will also be lots of charities and side stalls such as face painting and ‘meerkat madness’, meaning the day offers a great opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of music with friends and family.
