IT was fun all the way at Kiddi Caru’s day nursery in Harlow on Saturday 25th June, when it held a beach themed fun day and raised £500 for Home-Start UK – the charity dedicated to supporting families with young children.

Local families were invited to come along to a beach party in the nursery’s garden, which included a BBQ, limbo competition, hula games, face painting, a lucky dip and also a fancy dress competition.

All money raised by the fun day will help to ensure that Home-Start’s volunteers based at 300 centres around the UK have the training and support they need to continue to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children.

Louise Farrow, Nursery Manager, said: “We all had a fantastic day and are delighted that we managed to raise so much money for this amazing cause. A big thank you to all of the local families who made this possible by coming along and joining in the fun.”
