We would like to invite you to submit an original piece of artwork for The Secret Postcard Exhibition to be held at the Gatehouse Arts Gallery with an auction taking place at The Gibberd Gallery, Harlow, Essex.

Exhibition dates: 3rd Oct – 29th Oct 2016 (Gatehouse Art Gallery)

Auction Date: Friday 4th November 6.30-8.30pm (Gibberd Gallery)

The exhibition is open to everyone but with a stipulation that the artwork has to be original, the postcards should not be photocopies or mass produced cards, the post cards should be sized 15cmx10cm (6x4inches) and not signed on the front. The artwork can be in ANY medium; painting, photography, mixed media, print, ceramic anything you can imagine!

All Postcards will take part in a secret auction, the proceeds of the auction will go to the registered charities: FOHS&GG (Friends of Harlow Sculpture & Gibberd Gallery) and ACAVA (Association for Cultural Advancement through Visual Art).

It is Free to enter and each artist can submit upto 3 artworks, this is a chance to exhibit your work as part of an international group. When submitting please include your name and contact details on the back of the postcard. This will only be revealed when someone buys your postcard. If your postcard is not sold and you wish to have it returned pleased provide a stamped addressed envelope. Any unsold work that is not sent back to the artist will become part of the gatehouse arts archive.
