“>STEWARDS students celebrated GCSE success this year achieving some outstanding individual results. Overall 55% achieved A* t C in English and Maths, which is up on last year.

The top ten students achieved 90 A*-A grades between them.

Headteacher Rhonda Murthar said: “Considering how stringent the new Government targets are for secondary school pupils with regard to their progress over time we were delighted to exceed our own challenging target and are very likely to be above the national figure.

As always staff have worked hard to support pupils towards achieving their goals.
