HARLOW Theatre Company returns to the Victoria Hall Theatre next week with their latest production Bad Girls the Musical.
Following on from last year’s successful musical Rent, the show will open on Tuesday 11th running for five nights to Saturday 15th October at 8pm.
Bad Girls the Musical is based on story lines and characters from the first two series of the popular TV show and was written by the TV series creators Maureen Chadwick and Ann McManus with music and lyrics by Kath Gotts.
The show originally debuted at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in 2007 before transferring to the West End for a short run.
Director Jody Randall saw this as an ideal show for HTC, “The popularity of the TV show is there for all to see. When you add the tongue in cheek element the TV show had with some great songs, it gave us a must do production.”
The show does contain adult material and is not suitable for a younger audience.
