FOUR Harlow Running Club members completed the Victoria Park Half Marathon in
East London, each of them achieved a personal best time for the distance (PB)
and there was also a new club record. Sharon Wright finished in 35th place out
of 268 finishers in an excellent 1hr 32min 44sec, a new Club Female Vet 35
record. Brendon MacLean was 5th in a fantastic 1hr 22min 21sec, Alex Smith 9th
in 1.24.51 and Adrian Fell 23rd in 1.28.31.

Meanwhile at the St Neots Half Marathon in Cambridgeshire Graham Saville
finished in 413th place out of 1127 finishers in 1hr 45min 10sec (PB).

At the Beacon Trail Half Marathon in Leicestershire Debbie Smith finished in
227th place out of 289 finishers in 2hrs 23min 20sec.

At the Chelmsford 10K Jamie Jephcott finished in 33rd place out of 500 finishers
in a superb 39min 42sec.

Andy Kinney completed the Victoria Park 10k on Saturday, finishing in 127th
place out of 268 finishers in 56min 05sec. Then on Sunday he ran the MoRun 10K
at Milton Keynes, finishing in 271st place out of 755 finishers in 58min 39sec.

Afewerk Rossom was 1st finisher out of 140 finishers at the Harlow parkrun 5K in
17min 36sec. He was followed home by Amaniel Tesfay 3rd in 18.59, Andy Terrell
10th in 21.33, Paul Dixon 20th in 23.42, Spencer Brooks 21st in 23.43, Martin
Westley 39th in 25.31, Craig Segal 43rd in 25.54, Darren Tiley 44th in 25.55,
Louise Kedge 55th in 27.14, Martin Elven 61st in 27.44, Louise Cootes 80th in
29.07, Debbie Barry 81st in 29.09, Alan Wellbelove 87th in 30.05 and Pushpa
Mistry 97th in 32.14.

At the Gunpowder parkrun 5K at Waltham Abbey Ryan Smith finished in 7th place
out of 154 finishers in 19min 13sec (PB). He was followed by Rick Ricketts 21st
in 20.40, Jamie Luck 34th in 23.03 and Robin Lozeau 60th in 27.42.

At the Hackney Marshes parkrun 5K Martyn Coulter finished in 20th place out of
154 finishers in 20min 07sec.

At the Panshanger parkrun 5K at Hertford Sean Flynn finished in 42nd place out
of 239 finishers in 23min 17sec.

At the Hatfield Forest parkrun 5K Graham Saville finished in 37th place out of
176 finishers. He was followed by David Page 66th in 26.24, Holly Nairn 79th in
27.29 and Jane Evans 154th in 33.44.

At the Hatfield parkrun 5K Brenda Clayton finished in 72nd place out of 105
finishers in 29min 16sec.
