DANIEL Robinson & Sons Annual Children’s Convoy and Panto Trip will be taking place on Saturday 10th December and will be winding its way around Harlow as a special treat for local children and their families.

All the children have had a tough year due to either bereavement or illness and the day is designed so that they can spend a day as a family having fun and feeling special. Something many of them have not felt for a while.

The day starts when the children and their families are collected from their homes in stretched limousines and taken to The Latton Bush Centre in Harlow. All of the companies 12 limousines will be used and decorated (including the drivers in fancy dress). Once they are all there, at 1.00pm Santa will arrive on his sleigh and flanked by fire engines and bikers the convoy will wind its way around the streets of Harlow before arriving outside the Playhouse at 1.45pm. Here they will be met and greeted by Robert Halfon MP and the chairperson of Harlow District Council.

The families will then be treated to lunch before enjoying the afternoon performance of Beauty and the Beast. Later they are collected again to be returned home for a well-earned rest!
