TO celebrate the launch of the brand new Cineworld cinema at The Harvey Centre, Britain’s Got Talent 2016 finalists and Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act ‘Boogie Storm’ will visit the centre for performances on Saturday 17th December.
During their visit Boogie Storm will perform upstairs in The Terrace, the newly opened leisure development at the centre. The first performance will start at 12noon and will be followed by the opportunity for members of the public to meet the Troopers and have their photos taken with them. The final performance will start at 1.00pm, after which the act will make their way around the centre to meet and greet customers as they shop.
The appearances also celebrate the release of the first of the Star Wars standalone films by Lucasfilm; Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, on 15th December at Cineworld. With state-of-the-art screens delivering crystal-clear images and a powerful digital sound system, the new Cineworld is the perfect destination for viewing this all-new epic adventure.
This activity follows the official opening of the new Cineworld on 9th December following a VIP launch on 7th December. Here guests enjoyed drinks and canapés and an exclusive screening of ‘La La Land’ – a modern take on the Hollywood musical from Damien Chazelle, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.
Cinema fans who visit the new Cineworld at The Harvey Centre can take advantage of a range of offers including weekly discounted movies for juniors screenings for just £2 on Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays, as well as a great Student NUS discount. The cinema is also available for private venue hire.
Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “We’re really excited to be able to welcome this hugely iconic act to the centre to celebrate the opening of the new Cineworld cinema. It’s a hugely exciting time for The Harvey Centre and Harlow as a whole – with the new cinema leading a much needed boost to the night-time economy in the town centre, so it’s only fitting that we celebrate the launch in such a big way!”
