THE ORGANISERS of the ever-popular Linkfest have announced the line ups for the two summer concerts in the town park.

The line ups for 2017 are;

Sunday 23rd July

The Mike Lenson Band
Sumners Tales
The Purple Sound
The Hamwahs
Wrong Jovi (Headline)

Sunday 27th August

Red Alert
Steve Forward
The Stolians
Satans Empire
Funky Voices
The Heaters
Guns 2 Roses (Headline)

Organiser, Jamie Pring said: “Lots of new faces in the line ups this year as we felt it was time we changed things a little.

“Some new bands to the area plus some we all know including The Mike Lenson Band who may well be known from performances at The Square and Satans Empire who have reformed this year after 30 years apart and having some great success on the rock scene.

“We decided this time we would go with two tribute bands and are really pleased to have Wrong Jovi, courtesy of Reapermusic UK and Guns 2 Roses returning to the town having also played the Square.

“Youth is still playing a part in Red Alert and after a successful debut last year we simply had to have Funky Voices Choir back again.

LinkFest is supporting Harlow70 as well and we hope to have a surprise or two in August.

“Again huge thanks to our main sponsors GPCA and Places4People and all the sponsors involved in keeping LinkFest going.

“LinkFest was in doubt this year due to lack of volunteers and an appeal was sent out for help, fortunately some fantastic people have stepped forward and thanks to Harlow Council who have also promised some help, but anyone wishing to help steward please contact [email protected]
