THIS weekend, GAME is set to hold a LEGO building challenge at The Harvey Centre. The event will run from 12pm on Friday 24th February until 4pm on Sunday 26th February.

The challenge will be free to enter, and will be judged by the voting public via GAME Harlow’s Facebook page. The lucky winner will be announced on Wednesday 1st March and will get their hands on some GAME vouchers.

The challenge forms part of the store’s weekend of activity in support of ‘GameBlast17’. This is an annual event set up by the charity, ‘Special Effect’, which helps to change the lives of people with disabilities by bringing the fun and inclusivity of gaming into their lives. The charity encourages individuals, groups and clubs to host gaming marathons across the weekend of 24th – 26th February, for which participants are sponsored to take part.

Throughout the weekend, GAME will be hosting their own fundraising fun and games with a host of prizes up for grabs to boost their donations to the cause. The GAME team will be having a dress-down weekend with ‘onesie Saturday’ which is bound to create some giggles.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “We’re thrilled to back GAME in their support for this worthy cause. The event is sure to create quite an atmosphere on the malls – LEGO is hugely popular with all age groups so we expect it to be a very popular event, which raises some valuable funds.”
