IT was absolutely packed when our reporter turned up to the Rainbow Services Harlow is 70 party at the Great Parndon Community Centre on Saturday afternoon.

A Frank Sinatra tribute act was singing, residents were dancing and there was a wonderful array of cakes, sandwiches and tea.

Needless to say, the tireless Kelly Tarling was buzzing from table to table in order to make sure that well over a hundred Harlow residents got a chance to celebrate the 70th birthday of the town.
