IT seemed only fitting that on the 70th birthday of Harlow, veteran MP Stan Newens delivered a key talk on the History of Harlow.

In front of a packed audience at the wonderful Harlow Museum, Stan took us from the Stone Age right through to modern day.

We thought it would fill in a key part of our “Harlow is 70, Why They Came Here” project if we filmed and presented the years from The Stone Age to 1947.
