Harlow Town FC vs Grays Athletic FC – Match Preview

Lifestyle / Fri 7th Apr 2017 at 03:50pm

Harlow will be looking to put pressure on the teams above them in the race for the playoffs as they welcome already relegated side Grays Athletic to the Harlow Arena. The Hawks didn’t do themselves any favours last week, drawing 2-2 against Burgess Hill Town in a match that they had to win, leaving them four points of the final playoff spot occupied by Needham Market, although Dulwich Hamlet are a further point back, and have two games in hand too. Grays meanwhile sealed their fate of relegation as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat away to Wingate and Finchley, meaning their sole focus for this match is to try and complete the double against their old rivals after that 3- 1 success against the Hawks earlier in the season. With Harlow’s impressive home record, which once was the best in the division, they will be looking at this fixture as an ideal opportunity to bounce back and gain three points, although they can’t be complacent and expect that the visitors will roll over and die come saturday afternoon.

Harlow may recall Junior Dadson, who has just signed a one year contract extension with the club and Mario Noto to the starting eleven on saturday.
