THIS week is your final chance to nominate your favourite new residential and non-residential buildings in Harlow and its surrounding villages, before nominations for the second annual Harlow Architectural Design Awards close on Friday 30th June.

Organised by Harlow Civic Society and sponsored by Places for People and Architecture & Design Services, the Awards will celebrate the best of Harlow’s architectural design built between June 2016 and July 2017, as well as encouraging excellence in the design of the town’s future developments.

Paul McLintic, of the Awards, said: “We are delighted to have received a lot of interest in this year’s Awards but there is still a chance to have your say and submit a nomination before Friday’s deadline. We want to hear from as many residents as possible on what makes Harlow special.”

When nominations close this Friday, residents will then be able to vote on the ultimate winner from a shortlist of entries, before the HADA expert panel will consider each building and select, in light of the public voting, what appears to be the best in each category, to be announced in October 2017.

Both nominations and voting can be done online at www.harlowarchitecturaldesignawards.org.uk
