EIGHT teachers from Stewards Academy headed off to complete ‘The Three Peaks Challenge’ last month: This involved climbing the highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland in a weekend!

The long drive, the changing weather and injury did not prevent the group completing this momentous feat.

One staff member said: “It was an extraordinary weekend and we have had a wonderful experience. The views around us were breath-taking.”

The staff involved raised money for the charity MIND; in memory of two colleagues who recently passed away. Donations so far have reached over £1200, an absolutely fantastic amount for a worthy cause.
