CELEBRATE Love Parks Week at two fun-packed afternoons of free activities in Bishop’s Stortford and Sawbridgeworth this month.
At East Herts Council’s Southern Country Park you can join family games and fitness activities or try out orienteering and slacklining. And of course you can enter your pet in the popular dog show.
The fun is on Tuesday July 25 from noon-3pm and the park postcode is CM23 4BH.
At Pishiobury Park you can meet the friendly Longhorn cattle, join a guided bug hunt with the Friends of the park and take part in family activities.
It’s all happening on Thursday July 27 from noon-3pm and the park postcode is CM21 0AL.
Bring a picnic and enjoy these two lovely parks.
Graham McAndrew, Executive member for environment and the public space, said: “There’s something for everyone at these popular free afternoons in our lovely parks. So pack a picnic and bring the family for lots of fun and activities.”
