RAIN eventually washed out all Harlow games on Saturday with all teams in strong positions. 1st XI playing at home against Orsett had scored 217/3 off 42 overs before rain stopped play for an early tea.

Captain Rehman Ahmed had scored 51 before being caught and Ahmed Khawaja was on 75 and scoring runs with ease. The rain did stop and both captains wanted to continue knowing a win would lift either side up to 3rd place in the table, but the rain returned and game was called off. The 2nd XI playing Hutton away bowled them all out for 150 with wicketkeeper John Perry taking five catches, four off the bowling of Liam Coldwell who had taken 30/4 from 8 overs.
