Update: Vulnerable elderly Harlow man found

YH understands that Mr Sherman has been found and is in the care of his family.
Update: 0300 hrs
Police helicopter continues to search for Colin Sherman.

ESSEX Police are appealing for information to find Colin Sherman, 80, who is missing from his home in #Harlow.
Colin was reported missing at 7.30am today (Saturday, September 23) and his family and police are concerned for his welfare.
Colin was last seen wearing jeans, a shirt, black trainers and a royal blue fleece jacket. He was carrying a light blue bag for life with two newspapers in it.
Colin is considered vulnerable and suffers from the early stages of dementia.
He is known to frequent the Netteswell Pond and Hookfield areas of Harlow.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Harlow police station on 101.

Colin’s wife Rita was my childhood friend and I was her Bridesmaid. We remained in touch for many years. They lived at 121 Hookfield and had two daughters Sandra and Gillian.
