THERE are a number of reasons why you should go and see former Dire Straits bassist John Illsley at the Harlow Playhouse on Wednesday. Not only has his tour being going down very well around the country but his band has a number of fine musicians including Robbie Macintosh whoo has played with many a fine artist including Paul McCartney.

YH caught up with John Illsley in between gigs in Scotland and spoke to him about the tour as well as the early days of Dire Straits.
