THE Harvey Centre’s Christmas Grotto is now open until 24th December. The Grotto is running seven days a week, from 10am – 5pm (excluding 1pm – 2pm) Monday to Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sundays. Children can meet Santa and receive a wonderful gift for just £4.50.

On 30th November, between 11am – 7pm, the iconic Coca-Cola 2017 Christmas Truck will be making an appearance in Market Square close to The Harvey Centre. The tour begins in Glasgow and then will visit 42 locations in the UK, including Harlow. The tour is now in its 7th year and has travelled 733,811 miles – the equivalent of travelling around the world 29 times!

On 14th December, between 12noon – 8pm, The Harvey Centre has also arranged for an ice rink to be outside the shopping centre in Playhouse Square for one day only as a treat for shoppers. The ice rink is FREE for all – people just need to visit the ice rink stand in the centre to get a free ticket and the necessary ice skates. The centre will also be handing out free mulled wine, non-alcoholic cider and mince pies for the public to enjoy.

Finally on 21st December a local choir will be entertaining shoppers outside BB’s Coffee and Muffins in the centre. There is no doubt; The Harvey Centre is the place to be this Christmas!

These events will complement the array of festive attractions coming to Harlow this festive season including The Water Gardens’ Giant Snow Globe, which will be in the town on 7th December between 2pm – 8pm, a FREE family experience to get the perfect festive photo.

Simon Plumb, Centre Manager at The Water Gardens says, “We’re very excited about Christmas here at the Water Gardens and looking forward to the festive events and late-night shopping evenings Harlow will have to offer this year. We’re delighted to be bringing back the ever popular Giant Snow Globe, FREE for customers to experience on Thursday 7th December, a family fun activity to get the perfect festive photo. All of our stores and restaurants will be open late, and with FREE parking from 3pm, you can really make a day, and evening of it!”

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre says, “This year’s Christmas festivities are well underway, and I can’t wait for the coming week’s events. Whether you’re getting family photos in Santa’s Grotto, counting down the days until the Coca-Cola Truck arrives or speeding round the ice rink – I hope you make some magical memories.”
