FIVE scouts from Harlow have made it through the arduous selection process and have been chosen to represent Essex and the UK at the World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia, USA in 2019.

They all live in Harlow, attend local schools (Stewards, St Marks and St Nick’s) and attend local scout groups.

Harlow has never had so many young people qualify before for such a prestigious event. They need to fundraise a large amount to self-finance the trip, so we will be running a series of articles in order to help the scouts get across the pond.
