Lorry driver charged after cyclist left with life-chasing injuries after collision on Edinburgh Way

A DRIVER has been summonsed to appear at court following a collision that left a cyclist with life-changing injuries.

A lorry and a bicycle ridden by a 59-year-old man from Harlow were in collision in Edinburgh Way, Harlow, on September 20 last year.

The cyclist suffered multiple injuries to his legs, arms and head.

Thomas Robertson, 57, of Millbank Road, Stranraer in Scotland, has been summonsed to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on January 30 to face an allegation of driving without due care and attention.
