Air ambulance called after woman in Vicarage Wood falls down stairs

Update: 1045 hrs
EAST of England Air Ambulance were called at 5.44pm yesterday to Vicarage Wood to a report of a woman who had fallen down stairs.
An ambulance crew and rapid response vehicle were dispatched.
The East Anglia Air Ambulance was also sent.
They treated a woman with a head injury who was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for further care.
Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
2000 hrs
AN air ambulance has landed in The Stow. They landed on the playing fields close to Mardyke Road.
A land ambulance was also in attendance.
When YH attended there were no police in immediate vicinity.
Essex Police have told us that they are not aware of the incident.
