AS part of Harlow Council’s commitment to Health and Wellbeing and in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 – The Harlow Playhouse is delighted to be hosting a Mental Health Conference, at Harlow Playhouse on 14th May 2018.

Tell It How It Is – A conversation supporting mental health, is a fantastic opportunity to come for a day of information and inspiration about the world of mental health and the relationship we all have with it.

The day is made up of three elements:

Conference – The conference is the main element of the day this will take place in Theatre 1 at the Harlow Playhouse. With fantastic speakers including TV presenters, authors and mental health survivors and brutally honest and insightful Q&A sessions – this promises to be an informative and moving part of the event.

Free Drop-In Activities – alongside the conference there will be a wide range of activities taking place in Theatre 2, Café Bar, Studio 1 and Studio 2 of the Playhouse throughout the course of the day – these include Laughter Yoga, Zumba and Mindfulness workshops.

Health & Wellbeing Marketplace – the market place will be spread out across the Mezzanine and Café Bar, this is the opportunity for attendees to engage in conversations, obtain free advice and sample the services from a wide range of health and wellbeing industry leaders and local organisations.
