Dying homeless on UK streets: counting the true number
THERE is no official record of when, where or how people die homeless in the UK. Channel 4 News and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism are compiling a record to reveal the true number.
Channel 4 began their campaign with a ten minute focus on the life and death of Hamid, who ended his final days living in a car near Tesco in Church Langley.
Channel 4 became aware of the case through a detailed news item by a YourHarlow reporter, Adam Spartley.
Channel 4 thanked Adam for his work. Adam is currently studying journalism at Harlow College.
