House left “uninhabitable” after fire in Wharley Hook

FIRE Crews were called to a house after reports of a fire in a bedroom in Wharley Hook.

On arrival firefighters reported that there was a well-developed fire on the first floor and the house was smoke logged.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire and ventilate by 2.50am.

The house has suffered severe fire damage and is no longer habitable.

An investigation will take place to determine the cause of the fire.
