Thames Water cope with collapsed sewer in Nicholls Field

THAMES Water have been dealing with a collapsed sewer in Nicholls Field.

The teams have been working on a site off Tumbler Road for a number of weeks.

It is believed that the cause of the collapse was ground movement.

A spokesperson said: “We’ve been working at Nicholls Field to repair a collapsed sewer. We’ve had tankers on site pumping wastewater out of the network to allow us to carry out the repair, and expect to have finished the job by Friday June 15th.”
