AS part of Heart4Harlow’s Summer Festival, there will be a Charity Fayre along Broad Walk tomorrow (Saturday 14th July). The Heart4Harlow Summer Festival is a series of community events, held between May and August, which celebrate the diversity and energy of Harlow communities and the organisations which support them, and so far this year has included the International Day on 10th June and various events organised by groups across Harlow such as the Art of the Garden Party, and still to come Upwards with Down’s Family Fun Day (15th July) and the Barnardo’s Play Day (1st Aug).
This year, the line-up includes a Charity Fayre, where 14 local groups and charitable organisations will have stands from 11a.m. on Broad Walk offering activities, information, and opportunities to get involved. There will also be entertainment opposite Boots for all to enjoy. Jemma Mindham from Rainbow Services, which supports community groups and organisations across Harlow, said “ We are excited by this opportunity to show the people of Harlow how much great work is going on around them in their communities, celebrating Harlow and the lives of the people who live and work here. It is great working with Heart4Harlow to promote the community spirit and great activities which are happening”.
Alongside the Charity Fayre, there will be an opportunity to see the photos and life stories gathered from 70 Harlow residents in the 70/70 Vision photographic exhibition, which will be in Broad Walk on the same day (14th July).
