Important bus routes in Harlow set to be axed

A NUMBER of important bur routes are set to be axed.

EOS, formed in September, 2014 by Swallow Coach Company has confirmed to YH that they are cancelling the following routes from August 31st.

Service No 86: Operating between Harlow Bus Station and Waltham Cross Bus Station.
Service No 87: Operating between Harlow, Bus Station and Langston Road, Loughton.
Service No S1: Operating between Harlow Town Bus Station and Stratford City Bus Station

A spokesperson for EOS told YH: “Unfortunately we cannot continue to run these services financially. Due to this we have had to withdraw them however we believe Arriva may be considering taking them over but are not able to confirm this

A highly suggested reconnection between mostly Chingford and Harlow or even Waltham Abbeys Town Centre is being asked by now thousands of residents that live in Chingford, Waltham Cross/Abbey, Katherines, Bumbles Green and Epping as asked to re-add this connection. This helps multiple communities in Essex and London connect better and for those working in London as a bus to Chingfords station could connect better for those in Sewardstone and a connection to Harlow in Chingford could help service a highly wanted commute to work Sanstead Airport or Home. It has been demanded for now 3 years, we ask for this to become true once again.
