St Mark’s celebrates the best results in Harlow 2018

ANOTHER excellent set of results give St Mark’s the best performances against all of the key achievement measures within Harlow.

Headteacher, Elaine Heaphy, commenting on the results, stated, ‘Achievements such as these are born out of a culture of hard work and success. I would like to congratulate all our pupils and staff who worked so hard to achieve their great results.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2017) noted our school as “a highly inclusive school, where there are high expectations of what all pupils can achieve regardless of their background, race or religion.” Our pupils take tremendous pride in their school community and their learning.

St Mark’s is a school where success is achieved within a nurturing community, which provides structure, support, celebrates success and recognises the unique talents of young people as individuals. Pupils receive the very highest quality education, personalised to meet their individual needs, strengths and interests, so that they leave with the foundations for a successful life.

We insist on the highest standards of behaviour, uniform, attitude to learning and respect for one another and the environment. By providing a traditional, yet broad and balanced curriculum for all our pupils, we are able to recognise and develop individual talents, interests and successes.’

All are welcome to apply – tours of the school are still available, for Year 7 pupils starting September 2019, by appointment only.
