Latton Green choir showcase their talents at O2 in London

Education: Secondary / Fri 15th Feb 2019 at 03:23pm

ONCE again, the choir at Latton Green travelled to the O2 to showcase their hard work and dedication. They have worked tirelessly over the past four months and finally it was the big day.

After a delicious lunch at Frankie and Benny’s, they took their seats and rehearsed for three hours. They were so excited to see the audience seats filling up as the evening progressed and they even spotted parents (and fans!).

At 7pm, the lights dimmed and it was SHOWTIME! The children performed beautifully; they knew all the words and dance moves.

They sang a wide range of hits from a Moana medley to tunes from their favourite, The Greatest Showman.

They were even so lucky as to sing along with Tony Hadley to his classic Spandau Ballet song, ‘Gold’.

A spokesperson said: “We had an amazing day all round – Young Voices is such a wonderful experience, and one that we are glad to offer as part of our ’50 Things at Latton Green’.

“We are already excited about next year! Well done to all the children involved and thank you to the parents and families who came along to support us!”
