ESSEX firefighters were praised for putting out fire on marshland in Harlow.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening at just after 6pm.

As you may see from the film below, fire had started to spread on the Harlow Marshes, land that runs at the back of the Queensgate Centre off Edinburgh Way.

It had spread to power lines as well before a number of fire units attended and put out the fire.
