ESSEX Firefighters were in attendance at a fire in a disused building in Harlow.

Firefighters were called to reports of smoke coming from the former site of the Odeon in Harlow.

When fire crews arrived they reported there was a lot of smoke and a small fire in the reception area of the building.

Firefighters extinguished the fire by 3pm.

The cause of the fire was recorded to be deliberate.
