Fascinating exhibition on Harlow’s “lost history”

History / Tue 21st May 2019 am31 08:53am

A PHOTOGRAPHY exhibition focusing on Burnt Mill Village has just opened.

The exhibition will also look at Old Harlow and Potter Street.

It is a partnership between Harlow Council and the popular Facebook page, Photos of Harlow Old and New.

It will be held at Harlow Museum on Muskham Road, off First Avenue.

The launch was on a Saturday but thereafter it will be on Museum opening days, namely Tuesdays and Thursdays (apart from Thursday May 23rd due to Euro Elections).

The organisers have out in a lot of work and hope that as many people as possible can attend, especially schools.

There will also be Harlow movies being shown as well as slideshows as they did last time and it proved very popular.

YH popped down on Saturday and spoke to one of the organisers, Barry Lawrence.
