THE children, staff and parents of Latton Green Primary Academy came together on Monday afternoon for their Race for Life charity event.

Despite the weather condition, the children soldiered on with their hats and water bottles, with all the children and their parents completing the course.

A spokesperson said: “We were delighted when our small school managed to raise a staggering £1012.23 for a very worthy charity”.
