WITH the uncertainties and insecurities that can plague people in the 21st century it’s hardly surprising that relationships come under pressure. This is particularly true of marriages and the “knock-on-effect” on families.
An opportunity to strengthen these relationships is coming to Harlow in the form of The Marriage Course, which starts at the Gateway Freedom Church, on Wednesday 11th September 2019.
The course, developed by HTB, the organisation behind the highly successful and internationally recognised ALPHA course, will be delivered over 7 weeks between 8pm and 9.30pm at the community church in Perry Road near Staple Tye.
The course will be led by local pastors Brian & Mary Spencer, and Jonathan & Helen East.
Brian said “The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples do the course to intentionally invest in their relationship, others are looking to address more specific challenges. Either way, the course offers essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime. Although the course is based on Christian principles it is designed for all couples with or without a church background. As well as benefiting couples, we hope that the course will have a positive impact upon their immediate and extended families, in and around Harlow.”
