Essex Police make further appeal over Third Avenue stabbing

ESSEX Police is appealing to find two witnesses in connection with a stabbing in Harlow.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at around 12.25pm on Monday 22 July with reports that a man suffered a stab wound to the abdomen in Third Avenue.

“We were at the scene within nine minutes and the victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital in a life threatening condition. He has since been discharged.

We received information that the victim spotted three men having an argument with another man.

This man ran from the scene and the three men then attacked the victim before running off towards the Northbrook Estate.

We believe that two witnesses, described as black men, were seen walking through the underpass after the incident who might have seen what had happened or the suspects.

A 21-year-old man from Harlow has been arrested on suspicion of robbery remains on bail until 30 September.
