Statement from Fire Service

Firefighters assisted at a road traffic collision this afternoon.

On arrival crews confirmed that one woman was trapped following the incident, which involved two vehicles.

The woman, who is in her fifties, was released by firefighters by 5.36pm and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
