Harlow-based Exertis raised over £3.5k for charity

Exertis raises £3,672.80 for Accuro Charity

ON 30th August, Team Upgrade held the Charity Casino Night at Canons Brook Golf Club to raise funds for Accuro, a local charity that supports people with a disability in West Essex.

The Casino Night included great casino games including roulette, blackjack and a wheel of fortune. There was also an exciting auction, which included top prizes such as Arsenal V Man U tickets and a Round of Gold at Manor of Groves.

Team Upgrade, a group of 6 professionals from the Harlow-based Exertis, worked together to organise the successful fundraising event which received 135 guests and raised an incredible £3,672.80! The group were working towards their management qualification, in which they were tasked with organising a fundraising raising event and “couldn’t think of a better charity to work with [than Accuro].”

Alex Bright, one of the 6 members of Team Upgrade, said: “The event was a complete success. It was a great opportunity to bring together family, friends and colleagues together to support such an important and worthwhile cause. As a team we smashed our original goal and were so delighted to be able to make such a difference to a local cause. We learned that through support from your teammates, anything is truly possible when you put your mind to it.”

Natalie Emuss, Business Development Manager at Accuro commented: “We are so grateful for the support of Team Upgrade and Exertis. It was such a well-organised and different evening. This is an amazing amount and will really make a difference to supporting the children, young people and adults that use our services.”
