David’s Charity Walk Success
HARLOW man, David Chennells, completed his sponsored walk around the bustling town centre on Saturday 21 September, raising money for the Brain and Spine Foundation. Joined by friends, family, and members of the public, David pushed himself to achieve his goal.
Starting and finishing at the Water Gardens on a hot, sunny day, David called on his recent training to reach the end of his walk, where he had a much-needed rest. And a huge cheer from his supporters.
Donations on the day brought in £164, which will be added to those on David’s donation page, currently at £747.
If you would like to add your support, David’s page is at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/DavidChennells
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made the day special. And to everyone who sponsored David. His achievement is part of his continued determination to live independently and contribute to his community, following the bleed to his brain that changed his life 12 years ago.
