Update
ESSEX Police has contacted us to apologise in supplying incorrect information.
He has not been re-bailed until October 2020.
They have now informed us that the man arrested has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
A MAN arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency in a Harlow shop has been bailed until October 2020.
The 57-year-old was arrested at Costa Coffee in the Water Gardens, Harlow, shortly before midday today, Friday 23 August.
YH understands that he allegedly aroused suspicion whilst on a laptop at his table.
He was later located to the toilet area of the coffee shop.
He was bailed until September and then November.
Essex Police has now told YH that he has been re-bailed until October 31st, 2020.
YH is endeavouring to find out why he has been re-bailed for such a long period.
Aug2019 - Oct2020 ?? Probably be a mass debate about this.
Ha, strong contender for comment of the year right there...
"Probably be a mass debate about this." Radio Active, Series 5 Episode 2, July 1985. Polite title is "Nuclear Debate" but is often reffered to within the show as "The Mass Debate" or Radio Active's Mass-erm-"Disucssion". I like old jokes. I doubt Angus Deayton was the first. Glad to see not the last.
