HOLY Cross Primary Academy has produced a novel approach to trying to dissuade drivers from parking on the double yellow lines outside their school.

The cardboard cut put pupils with their message are spread out over Tracyes Road in Harlow.

We asked the school if they were there just for Christmas but they told us they were there for good.

They were purchased by the Friends of Holy Cross and it is hoped they will deter parents from parking.

They put them out in the morning and collect them in at the end of the day.
